Summer Trip Cruise
Summer Trip Cruise was a commission from Gius Caminiti, a video game developer with extensive experience in design, programming, and 3D modeling.
The idea was to create music that would accompany the gameplay in a carefree manner while illustrating the different countries the player was embarking through. The OST is compounded by 4 tracks.
Samba of the Seven Seas (Summer Trip Cruise Main Theme):
The first level, Greece, features the most tranquil theme of all, as it is assumed that the player is getting used to the controls, which are tricky. The intention is to take it easy because if the cruise ship crashes, people will die, and the screams of the passengers will be heard.
To achieve this, we based the music on a Sirtaki, perhaps the most famous dance of Greece, and used typical instruments like the Bouzouki.
Chromaticism, 2/4 time signatures, and counter rhythms are the perfect recipe to illustrate the Greece level and the clumsy character of the game.
Drifting in the Aegean (Summer Trip Cruise Greece Theme):
Level 2 takes you to the heart of Italy, embracing the lively charm of a classic tarantella.

This piece thrives on its energetic triple meter rhythm, creating a playful, danceable atmosphere with a touch of humor.
Traditional instruments like the mandolin and light flutes bring out the unmistakable Mediterranean essence, making this level both whimsical and memorable.
Tarantella Twist (Summer Trip Cruise Italy Theme):
